African Parents are Amazing
We may not be able to fully appreciate their efforts when we’re young and all we see is our spoiled friends getting special treatment, but we should recognize and thank our parents for everything they do to put greatness in our lives and to make sure we are not part of the “going nowhere fast” clan.
In fact, there are a number of scenarios that most people who were raised by African parents will probably recognize themselves in. For instance, no one needs to teach you that when your parents are talking to you, that means you keep quiet and listen until they ask you a non-rhetorical question – and you know by age 10 what that means.
